Unhappy IGES import error

I'm trying import an .IGS given to me by a client and I get "unknown import error".

I got the error in v7 of the translator basic plugin and have just undated to the v7.1 but still get the same error. The Max native IGES import opens it ok, as does Inventor LT.

But I would really like to used the npower plugin and the features it gives me. Any ideas why it might be broken?

I'm using MAX Design 2011(64)on Win7pro(64)
