polar snap

Hallo,
powernurbs, solids and so on is a great tool, but since it all starts with a linework there must be more utillities enhancing the simple 2d drawnig. The sketch tool has length snapping, very nice feature, but if one wants to have a POLAR snapping, has to use the max line shape.
I am not really a max user, i thing that the drawing functionality should be as much closer to autocad as possible for real drawing precision.Didnt they split max to design and what was the other one version. So what kind of design with this complicated interface, many tools doing almost the same, and no tools to acomplish some basic drafting tasks?
Maybe this is a post for 3dsmax forum, but if it is possible for the Npower team to put polar snapping to the sketch tool, or make it compatible with the native max polar snapping.
After all, you guys are making 3dsmax a serious modeling and design tool, besides with its popularity and great visualistion capabilities.
Best Regards

What do you mean by polar snapping?

Edit: Ok found it in the 3ds Max Help. I would create the lines with the standard max line tool, and then use a Compound Sketch to convert it to a nPower Sketch object.
